A 3ª – última – Etapa do Circuito de Surf do Alentejo 2013 voltou a ser adiada. Inicialmente prevista para o fim-de-semana 3 e 4 de Maio, a etapa foi uma primeira vez adiada para este fim-de-semana, 11 e 12 de Maio, e agora voltou a ser adiada, desta vez sem nova data. “Neste momento adiámos à espera de uma boa previsão de swell”, disse ao Swell-Algarve fonte do Sines Surf Clube, entidade organizadora do campeonato.
“O mais certo é realizar-se no fim-de-semana de 1 de Junho, porque se espera um bom swell nessa data. Mas se houver boas condições antes, realizamos o campeonato noutra data”, acrescentou a fonte da organização ao Swell-Algarve.
O Sines Surf Clube quer as melhores condições de mar possíveis para a etapa que vai decidir o título de campeão no Circuito de Surf do Alentejo 2013.
Recorde-se que a equipa algarvia da FutureSurfingSchool, que representa o Clube Naval de Portimão, tem conquistado bons resultados neste circuito. Destaque para Gustavo Gouveia (‘Guga’), que venceu a 2ª Etapa; Paulo Alves Almeida, que é candidato ao título Open com um segundo e um terceiro lugar; e para Yolanda Sequeira, que venceu a 2ª Etapa na categoria Femininos.

FINAL AGAIN POSTPONED
Round 3 – last – of the Alentejo Surf Circuit 2013 was postponed for the second time. Initially planned for the weekend 3rd and 4th May, the event was postponed for a first time to this weekend 11th and 12th May, and now it was again postponed, this time without new date. “Right now we postponed waiting for a good swell forecast,” said to Swell-Algarve a spokeperson for ‘Sines Surf Clube’, organizer of the championship.
“The most certain is to be held on the weekend of June 1st, because it is expected a good swell on that date. But if good conditions emerge before, the championship will be played on another date,” added the organization’s spokeperson to Swell-Algarve.
‘Sines Surf Clube’ wants the best possible sea conditions for the event that will decide the champion title of the Alentejo Surf Circuit 2013.
Remember that the team FutureSurfingSchool from the Algarve, which represents ‘Clube Naval de Portimão’, has been winning good results in this circuit. Highlight for Gustavo Gouveia (‘Guga’), which won Round 2; Paulo Alves Almeida, who is a strong candidate for the Open title with a second and a third place, and to Yolanda Sequeira, who won the Roun 2 in Women.
