CSF PROMOVE CULTURA DO SURF
O surf é muito mais que uma actividade física ou um desporto; é uma forma de estar na vida. Essa é a mensagem que o Clube de Surf de Faro (CSF) pretende divulgar ao integrar a primeira etapa do ano do (seu) Circuito Inter-Sócios num evento de vários dias – Sur Far – alargado a actividades como limpeza de praias, exposição de fotografias e pinturas, projecção de curtas metragens, dança e concertos.
A etapa do Circuito Inter-Sócios CSF decorre no fim-de-semana 20 e 21 de Abril. A prova começa às 14h30 de sábado, dia 20, com a manhã dedicada a uma acção de limpeza de praia, logo a partir das 09h00, com encontro marcado no Centro Náutico de Faro. O domingo, dia 21, é dedicado só à prova, a partir das 13h00.
No dia 24, quarta-feira, é inaugurada (21h00) uma exposição colectiva de fotografias e pinturas alusivas ao surf, na galeria da delegação regional do Instituto Português do Desporto e da Juventude (IPJD) em Faro, na Rua da PSP. A inauguração integra uma tertúlia com os artistas convidados.
No dia 26, sexta-feira, também a partir das 21h00 vão ser projectadas curtas metragens de surf no auditório do IPDJ em Faro, seguidas de concertos com Luís de Vale, Primatta e Morpho. No dia seguinte, sábado, de novo a partir das 21h00 e no mesmo auditório, vai haver uma performance de dança, mais projecção de ‘curtas’ de surf e um concerto com os Fenoid. O serão encerra com entrega de prémios para ‘curtas’ e fotografias de surf.

CSF FOSTERS SURF CULTURE
Surfing is much more than a physical activity or a sport, it is a way of being in life. This is the message that the ‘Clube de Surf de Faro’ (CSF) intends to promote by integrating the first members championship of the year into a multi-day event – Far Sur – extended to activities such as beach cleaning, photographs and paintings exhibitions, projection of short films, dance and concerts.
The CSF members championship runs on the weekend 20th and 21st April. The championship starts at 14:30 on Saturday, April 20, but the morning is dedicated to a cleaning beach action, from as early as 09:00, starting at ‘Centro Náutico de Faro’. Sunday, April 21st, is dedicated only to the championship, from 13.00.
On the Wednesday 24th, a collective exhibition of photographs and paintings alluding to surf will be inaugurated (21:00) at the gallery of the regional delegation of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPJD) in Faro, in ‘Rua da PSP’. The opening includes a gathering with guest artists.
On Friday 26th, also from 21:00, short surf films will be projected in the auditorium of IPDJ in Faro, followed by concerts with Luís do Vale, Primatta and Morpho. The next day, Saturday, again from 21:00 and in the same auditorium, there will be a dance performance, more short surf films and a concert with Fenoid. The evening concludes with awards ceremony for short films and photographs of surfing.
