Ruben Silva venceu a 2ª Etapa do Rebel Longboard Tour 2013, disputada no âmbito do Atlantic Surf Fest, na Praia Canide Norte, em Gaia, de 6 a 7 de Julho. Luís Esteves (Clube de Surf de Faro – CSF) foi segundo classificado e manteve a liderança no ‘ranking’ deste novo circuito nacional de Longboard.
O Clube de Surf de Faro obteve bons resultados nesta 2ª Etapa do Rebel Longboard Tour 2013. Além do 2º lugar conquistado por Luís Esteves, vencedor Longboard do Circuito de Surf do Algarve 2012, o CSF alcançou ainda um 5º lugar, por Manuel Mestre e um 9º lugar, por João Veríssimo. Participaram na prova um total de 25 atletas.
O Rebel Longboard Tour 2013 estreou-se em Faro, em Fevereiro. Luís Esteves venceu essa etapa inaugural e Ruben Silva foi 3º classificado. Ruben, campeão nacional de Longboard 2012, representou o CSF nessa 1ª Etapa, mas em Gaia competiu em representação de outro clube do qual também é sócio.
A 3ª Etapa do Rebel Longboard Tour está prevista para o fim-de-semana 31 de Agosto e 1 de Setembro, na Figueira da Foz. O circuito está aberto a todos os praticantes, federados e não federados, e tem no Clube de Surf de Faro o seu principal impulsionador.

RUBEN SILVA WINS EVENT 2
Ruben Silva won Event 2 of the Rebel Longboard Tour 2013, held simultaneous with Atlantic Surf Fest, at Praia Canide Norte, in Gaia, on the weekend 6th and 7th July. Luís Esteves (Clube de Surf de Faro – CSF) finished 2nd and retained the ‘ranking’ leadership in this new Portuguese Longboard circuit.
CSF had good results in this event. Besides the 2nd place won by Luís Esteves (Longboard winner of the Algarve Surf Circuit 2012), CSF won a 5th place, by Manuel Mestre, and a 9th, by João Veríssimo. The event had 25 competitors.
The Rebel Longboard Tour 2013 started in Faro, in February. Luís Esteves won Event 1 and Ruben Silva, portuguese longboard champion 2012, finished 3rd. Ruben represented CSF in Event 1, but in Gaia he represented another club.
Event 3 of the Rebel Longboard Tour 2013 will be held in Figueira da Foz, from 30th August to 1st September. CSF is the main club organising this tour.
